Omg! Shimmer....

So I was looking up literary magazines, looking to see which ones I would be interested in, and I found "Shimmer" on wikipedia. While I couldn't find the site on Google (don't ask me how....) I decided that, I would try to sell my stories to them (in a few years, obviously, I'm not THAT talented! ;) Lol!)

Its a new magazine, I would say. It started around 2005 and is somewhat small(I think)...But I'm looking for a way to get a subscription, since I know of no place that carries it around my little corner of LA.

Although I'm pretty sure I won't send in that story about the teacher-killing. Lol! Murder may be fun (fictional) but its not fantasy, just horror? I would say it is, although it isn't particularly horrific for me....

Well this is a quick post, just 'cause I'm not busy at the moment, but I'll probably post later. If not, tomorrow, for sure! Lol!

Listening to: Ricochet by Shiny Toy Guns

I like it.... Heh.

BTW: Really random side note, but i just wrote my weirdest story ever! Random psychicness, flesh melting, and torture!

BTW2: Still working on my faerie story.

  1. BTW3: I wrote a story once about Harry Potter. It was kinda like fanfiction stuff, only I completely ruined the wonderful world of Harry Potter for all my friends. Dumbledore sort of... turned gay and evil and raped Harry and he was traumatized over it. This is why I don't write stories... hahaha!

  2. ^That story sounds frightening.

Well, you know, Buffy is always good too. I love Joss Whedon.

Anyhoo, I've ALWAYS been a Dresden/Murphy shipper and I just get really mad sometimes. I've given up hope of it ever happening.

I read somewhere that the show was cancelled because it wasn't attracting the right demographic. It was aimed at males 18-25 or something and mostly attracted middle aged females. And me. Did you watch it? It's not as good as the books of course, but I still like it.

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and takes place every November. The challenge is to write a 50 000 word novel in one month. I finished, yay! It clocks in at a little over 57 000 words and is about 116 pages on Microsoft Works. I'm doing Script Frenzy next month, which is writing a 100 page script in a month. I'm adapting two of my short stories to two TV scripts.

  3. I could write all my stories up on here, but they'd probably kick me off Blogger for disobeying the terms of use. :(
