Lol!
Today's been a regular day. I woke up late (The way it's meant to be!) and then turned on my computer and surfed the net a little.
Then I fixed "faerie" my story so far. It's pretty good, so far. I've been working alot on making my fey actually work. I don't want them to look like a pale imitation of other works. BTW: It went crazy. I had planned only like three or four pages, and I have 7. That's alot for someone like me. I never write that much. But I better get used to it, since I want this as a career. :P AND! I'm still not done.
I've also been doing research for my Anti-Twatlight essay/post-like thing. ^_^ But I've hit a rough patch. I tried to read part of "Twatlight", but I gave it up for "A Caress of Twilight" which is the second Merry Gentry novel.
Right now I'm raving(?) to "Heart Surgery isn't That Bad" by Jeffree Star. It's a very good sex-techno song. I mean I can't make any sense of the lyrics, but its good. LOL!
Quick question to anyone: Since I have no idea how the writing business is (I know, its sad) how do I get my short stories out there? Magazines? Huh?
Help!
Random Quote of the Day: "You like it fast, I like it hard!" -Jeffree Star (Heart Surgery isn't that Bad) This song is going to be in my head for the rest of the week! Argh!

I don't know anything about publishing stuff, so I can't really help. I'm pretty sure literary magazines take submissions. You can probably find that out on the internet.
ReplyDeleteAnyway. I just get these fairy tales off the internet: http://childrensbooks.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/Ya&sdn=childrensbooks&cdn=parenting&tm=96&f=10&tt=14&bt=1&bts=1&zu=http%3A//hca.gilead.org.il/
Okay, about the incubus thing. Smeyer didn't say it in the books, but she mentioned that Edward was an incubus in later interviews after people called her out for saying vampires couldn't have kids and then Edward fathered Renesmee. This is stupid for a few reasons:
1. Incubi and vampires are NOT the same thing at all.
2. Incubi are sex demons, and since Edward is a virgin, he can't be one.
3. Incubi shapeshift into succubi to obtain semen from human men, then back to incubi to impregnate women. Again, Edward is a virgin so this isn't possible.
If you have any other Twilight questions, just ask. I've read all of them and I've done quite a bit of research on Twilight for my anti-Twilight posts.
