So I was looking up literary magazines, looking to see which ones I would be interested in, and I found "Shimmer" on wikipedia. While I couldn't find the site on Google (don't ask me how....) I decided that, I would try to sell my stories to them (in a few years, obviously, I'm not THAT talented! ;) Lol!)
Its a new magazine, I would say. It started around 2005 and is somewhat small(I think)...But I'm looking for a way to get a subscription, since I know of no place that carries it around my little corner of LA.
Although I'm pretty sure I won't send in that story about the teacher-killing. Lol! Murder may be fun (fictional) but its not fantasy, just horror? I would say it is, although it isn't particularly horrific for me....
Well this is a quick post, just 'cause I'm not busy at the moment, but I'll probably post later. If not, tomorrow, for sure! Lol!
Listening to: Ricochet by Shiny Toy Guns
I like it.... Heh.
BTW: Really random side note, but i just wrote my weirdest story ever! Random psychicness, flesh melting, and torture!
BTW2: Still working on my faerie story.

Random, somewhat boring, update...
So apparently I'm going to be abnormally busy soon. I decided to join academic decathlon (for those that don't know what it is, its when people who can't play sports battle each other in a pay-per-view knowledge match! ....Only not so much in pay-per-view. Heh.) And I'm going to join the Karate club at my school. Hey, free martial arts lessons, who can go wrong with that? Lol!
I still need to read the Grapes of Wrath, its incredibly dull, for me anyways, unless I start talking with a southern accent imitating the characters. Lol!
I finished "A Caress of Twilight" by LKH, and I felt the ending was somewhat rushed. But it was still good. I liked it. :)
I'm all preparing for St Patrick's Day tomorrow. It is tomorrow, right? I hope it is...the 17th?
Yeah, Ima do my hair (I usually let it exist in the curly mess it becomes) and wear jeans (I usually don't, too lazy to put them on in the morning, I go for slacks) and my Shamrock! T-shirt. I like shamrocks. Oh! And my green/grey jacket.
I need more green. I find incredibly funny that its my favorite color, and I only have like one clothing article that's green. Lol!
Stakes and random candy bars!

Let Me Show How It Works...
Lol!
Today's been a regular day. I woke up late (The way it's meant to be!) and then turned on my computer and surfed the net a little.
Then I fixed "faerie" my story so far. It's pretty good, so far. I've been working alot on making my fey actually work. I don't want them to look like a pale imitation of other works. BTW: It went crazy. I had planned only like three or four pages, and I have 7. That's alot for someone like me. I never write that much. But I better get used to it, since I want this as a career. :P AND! I'm still not done.
I've also been doing research for my Anti-Twatlight essay/post-like thing. ^_^ But I've hit a rough patch. I tried to read part of "Twatlight", but I gave it up for "A Caress of Twilight" which is the second Merry Gentry novel.
Right now I'm raving(?) to "Heart Surgery isn't That Bad" by Jeffree Star. It's a very good sex-techno song. I mean I can't make any sense of the lyrics, but its good. LOL!
Quick question to anyone: Since I have no idea how the writing business is (I know, its sad) how do I get my short stories out there? Magazines? Huh?
Help!
Random Quote of the Day: "You like it fast, I like it hard!" -Jeffree Star (Heart Surgery isn't that Bad) This song is going to be in my head for the rest of the week! Argh!

Oh, Shoot Me now please......
Ugh. Read the title.
I just came back (a while ago) from my SAT prep class.... and guess what?
My school sux. The people weren't even there, probably got lost, or something. Who knows?
But, anyways. The people in charge of the class (the school people) had the brilliant idea to have us take another practice test. Yes, I know. The test I paid 5 fucking dollars for last weekend I just got for free as mental torture. It was like evil-math-hell-bingo! 17B! 21A! Arghhhhh!
I was about to have a bitch-fit/panic attack by the second section. I was going to go like 'Grrrrrr!' on all of their asses, until my friend (Guera) told me to "shut the hell up and do your test, whore!"
And who can refuse a command like that?
But she bought me chips afterward. I love you, guera! Lol! (You know how they say food is the key to any man's heart? Wel in this case it's true! :P Lawl!)
Nutrition was the highlight of my morning. I had forgotten how much saturday-class nutrition is. It's fun. There's music, and Uncrustables PB&J sandwiches! and they sell chips! (Now, anyways.)
Then, I took the bus to the library. In where I checked out "Death Masks" and "Backup" by Jim Butcher, and "A Caress of Twilight" which is the second Merry Gentry novel, by Laurell K. Hamilton. I need them to wash out my brain from that nasty writer's block Twilight gave me! (I've been reading it to be able to trash it better! I know. Ugh. Can't get past the middle of the book and its been like four months!)
Shameless Anti-Twatlight Plug: Read Anita Blake! You have to! :)
Well anyways, I've been writing some. I got like this amazing idea after reading "Grapes of Wrath" for homework. I started writing this story about a faerie queen and faerie court, and plots! Fun! Lol!
How I got there? No idea. it just comes to me, randomly. I was like on page 2 (of "Grapes of wrath") and it hit me. So i started typing. Lol!
So there. That's an entire recap of my day. Lol! Pretty boring, huh?
Twilight is evil! Don't read it!
BTW: Mugger? "Wangsta". It was funny. My friend and her boyfriend were all talking shit back to him, a few weeks ago. He has started harassing them. It was hilarious, and watching a really short "wangsta" try to punk you is very funny to me. He was like 5 feet tall....Lol! I'd love to see him try that again with me! Lol! I also had him for my 6th period, no one talked to him. Heh.
Listening to: Turning Japanese by The Vapors
Lollipops and random sex dreams! Lol! I'm so dirty.... ;)
BTW: Sarah? Your blog doesn't let me comment :( . . . . Sorry I haven't commented back...*Does Really Sad and Pathetic Puppy Eyes...You Feel Sorry For Him-yes, you do!*....I'll keep trying, kay? :)

Meh.
Ugh. I wish I was happy that today was Friday, but I'm not.
Why? You ask? I'll tell you why!
Because I still have to go to school tomorrow. Ugh. I have to take this stupid SAT prep class that I'm starting to regret signing up for because I need "me" time. Like a lot. I need a shitload of rest and relaxation.
I'm in mental pain! Arghhhhhh!
I tried to put in a playlist from Project Playlist, a somewhat weird site that i will never visit again, and it didnt work. Oh, well! Lol!
I need sleep. Sleep, and sleep, and sleep, and sleep. ^_^
Pillows and Blankets! Moo.
No quote. Too tired.

I survived a mugging and I liked it! Lol!
So apparently, I'm mugging material.
Here's the story. I was walking home, on a main street, just listening to music on my phone. You know, Supermassive Black Hole (Muse) and If you seek Amy(Britney), and out of the corner of my eye I see this guy talking at me. I'm like.....WTF?
I ask him, huh? He looks at me and says, "Where you from?"
I'm all like...joy! Annoyance by a "gangsta" at last!
I look at him like the imbecile he is, and say..."nowhere."
He says, "Give me your iPod, motha fucka!"
Now, my iPod and my Phone are like my children! My babies! I would rip them (there were two guys) apart before they put their filthy hands on them! My iPod is basically the only memory I have left of my dad....so not gonna happen! And I put money in MY phone! If they want one so badly, they can buy one! Shit....
So I look at him, like Are you fucking serious?
So I laughed put on my other earphone, and kept walking. It was funny! :)
He followed me, and I just kept walking. Heh.
BTW: I'm thinking of joining Academic Decathalon. . . . Hmmmmm. . . . .
No Doubt tickets and black roses! Lol!

Daily "BLAH!"
I have just realized that I have somewhat severe problems. Mental problems. Nothing like a disease or something, just that I got my thoughts completely messed up.
In the past month I have pretty much let my life go to shit. I have been neglecting school. So, before, I was doing pretty good. Not !OMG-Awesome! but not completely horrible, either. Now I find myself completely neglecting my french work and the class. I am not doing my Geometry assignments, and am just spacing out during U.S History. My computer class has also just turned into an hour I have to kill before going home.
The only classes I'm not doing horrible in are English and drawing. And even then, I'm on the edge.
Everyday when I wake up to go to school, I look at it like just 8 hours that pass by before "real life" continues. This is not a healthy attitude. I need to pick up my grades before the final report card (which is in April, btw) so I can get a good GPA. Right now I have a 2.4. I'm not even touching that with a ten-foot stick.
I sincerely need to focus, and stop looking at school as "non-time". I've found out that I have a D (a D!!) in Geometry, the class where I've been getting nothing but A's and B's on my weekly quizzes!
Well, just a quick post before homework. I have a lot to start and finish. Hopefully, now that i have no more huge projects, I'll be able to catch up on my grades.
But in the mean time... Any advice?
