Shrew Taming and Vampires

Today is a day for literature. Or reading, whichever you prefer.

Lol! I didn't go to Saturday school, today. Since I've had Finals for the last three days, yesterday being the worst, asking me to wake up early (I've been short on sleep, too), and go to school to study for the SAT is like begging me to commit a violent act of murder.

I decided to not go. It's just safer that way.

Anymoo (Lawl), I woke up late today! Yay! It's been forever since I've done that! Whoooo! I woke up at 11:30!

Yesterday I went on a late-night field trip to the Theatre. My old English teacher (Soon to be current English teacher) gave me a chance to go see "Taming of the Shrew" at A Noise Within theatre in Glendale. I've been to that theatre before, with that same teacher and everything, it's always been pretty cool. At that theatre we've seen Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet (I think), and a handful of other Shakespeare plays.

We had to get to the school by 6:45pm. I got there around that time, and kicked with a friend of mine for awhile. We took a coach to the theatre, which was fucking awesome, instead of an old-ass schoolbus.

The performance itself was pretty good. Well acted, even though I didn't really like the play. It was comical and dramatic, very well acted, in fact.

Today I went to the library, seeing as I haven't gone in weeks. I haven't read anything that wasn't school-related either. It's sucked a lot!

I picked up two new books, teen reads, that I found. The first one is "Ink Exchange" which about tattoos and faeries, written by Melissa Marr. The second, a vampire book, "Blue Bloods" by Melissa De La Cruz. This book is actually pretty good. While it completely bypasses some of the "DUH" vampire myths, such as sunlight and siring, it does pretty good. It focuses alot on the setting and pasts, the people. It's addicting. But it's a good addiction. When I finish reading it, you'll know if it's horrible and addicting, or just addicting.

Lost my willingness to write.

Bye.
